How to eat more veggies.

I know I should be eating more veggies, but it doesn’t always happen! I came across an easy way to help me though and I’m sharing it today!

1) When you come home from the store, wash, cut, and store your fruit and vegetables. If they are ready to eat, you’re more likely to use them. This is what I wash my produce with each week. Just use a capful in a sink of water, let sit for 10 minutes, rinse and let dry.

2) Try to eat a few before each meal. This way you’re staring all of your meals with a little fiber. Great way to balance your blood sugar too. I also use the veggies to gauge my hunger. If I’m truly hungry, I’ll eat a carrot!

3) Use a veggie tray. This is how I get my kids to eat veggies for snack. They love raw vegetables, but not cooked so much, so when I fill this tray with veggies, they always eat it. I just put it out with hummus and don’t say anything. Usually, it’s gone in no time.
