Anyone else trying to get more protein in the AM? I know for my age and weight it’s recommended to have 30 grams at breakfast to stay full all day. That’s a lot of eggs! lol. I started making this very small, simple antioxidant, protein rich smoothie (no protein powder)! It’s tasty, simple, and a great addition to breakfast!

Ingredients:

Siggi’s Plain yogurt cup (16 g protein)

1 2oz packet Ningxia Red (This is an antioxidant drink I take every day.)

1/4 cup frozen wild blueberries (For fiber and more antioxidants).

Directions: Add all ingredients to the blender, blend up, and enjoy!

Note: You could add lots of other things to this, for example, more fruit, spinach, flax seeds, etc. But I just love the simplicity of it and that it helps me get some extra protein and vitamins in my daily breakfast!
