The BEST Salad Dressing Recipe
I am a creature of habit! If I find a recipe I like and make the same thing over and over each week! I love having a salad every day for lunch with crunchy quinoa and some kind of protein. (If you live in the north east, try to find Little Leaf Farms lettuce! It’s so good!) I have also been adding berries or peaches to my salads, it’s so delicious with this dressing! I get asked a LOT about how I make my salad dressing, so wanted to share this easy recipe with you. I really love to make my own! Once you start, you will love it so much that the jar dressings just won’t taste as good to you! The good thing about this one is that it’s healthy and you can change it up based on what you have in your pantry. And within line of always trying to lower toxins in our home, this is a great replacement for multiple dressings in plastic bottles!
A few notes: I store this in the fridge, but because of the olive oil, it will harden up. I just take it out before we want to eat it for about 30 min or you can microwave it to loosen it up. You can also sub out shallots for the garlic or use maple syrup to sweeten. I have also made it with apple cider vinegar! Basically, use what you have on hand in this combo and you can’t go wrong!
Let me know if you make it! It will become your new favorite!
