Day 23: Clean the dishwasher

It might come as a surprise that one of the dirtiest spots in your home could be your dishwasher!

• First, you'll need to locate the dishwasher filter.

• Place the filter in a sink filled with hot water and some Thieves dish soap. Soak and scrub. (Avoid wire brushes or rough scrubbing that could damage delicate dishwasher filters) Once clean, rinse the filter thoroughly with water.

• Pop the dishwasher filter back into place.

• In the bottom of the dishwasher, add ½ capful of Thieves Household Cleaner, 1 cup white vinegar and 3 drops Lemon essential oil. Run empty dishwasher through a full cycle. Do not add detergent.

• Clean front of dishwasher with Thieves Cleaner spray.

Your dishes will be spic and span, and maintaining your dishwasher will keep it running well for years to come!
